BJP Counters Opposition Campaigns As Yogi Adityanath Leads Ghaziabad Padayatra

What's behind this

BJP organised a protest march in Shivamogga to oppose the opposition’s stance on the SIR, while simultaneously launching counter‑campaigns against opposition activities, including a padayatra led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Ghaziabad. The move comes after the CJP announced a separate protest in Kochi on November 7, urging “Save Democracy! Cancel SIR!” following a face‑off at Jantar Mantar. The latest protest announcement follows these earlier actions, reflecting ongoing political tensions over the SIR.
