What's behind this
The Department of Posts has lengthened the operating hours of India’s only floating post office, located at Nehru Park on Dal Lake, so it will now be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The change comes after an encouraging public response to a recent extension of hours at the Lal Chowk location. This move expands the service window for the iconic floating post office.
